Nova Product Badges ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy and handling store data with complete transparency. This Privacy Policy outlines how our application collects, uses, and safeguards information when you install and use Nova Product Badges on your Shopify store.

1. Information We Collect

A. Store & Administrative Information

When you install the App, we automatically access certain data from your Shopify account via official Shopify APIs to ensure proper functionality:

• Shop Domain & Identification: Your .myshopify.com store domain and internal Shopify shop ID.
• Session Tokens: Authenticated API session tokens to securely communicate with the Shopify Admin API.
• Product Information: Product handles and tags strictly for the purpose of matching and displaying badges on qualified products.

B. Badge Configuration Data

We store the customization settings you create within the app dashboard:

• Badge text, background color, text color, font size, badge shape, display position, and target product tags.

C. Information We DO NOT Collect

• Customer Personal Data (PII): We do not collect, store, or process any personally identifiable customer information, including names, billing/shipping addresses, payment details, phone numbers, or customer emails.
• Order & Financial Records: We do not track, read, or store order transactions, store revenue, or checkout details.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the collected information exclusively to provide, maintain, and support the App's core functionality:

• Authenticating your store access within the Shopify Admin.
• Saving your badge styling preferences and syncing them to your store theme via Shopify Metafields.
