BoostFlow ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Shopify application BoostFlow: Free Shipping Bar (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected when merchants install and use our App on their Shopify store.
1. Information We Collect
A. Merchant Information
When you install the App, we automatically receive and store necessary information to operate the service:
- Shop Domain & Identification: Your
.myshopify.com domain URL and store identifiers.
- Authentication Credentials: Shopify API access tokens required to communicate securely with your store admin.
- App Configuration Settings: Settings you customize within the App admin, including shipping goal amounts, custom display messages, background colors, and text colors.
B. End-Customer Information (No PII Collected)
We respect your customers' privacy. We do NOT collect, process, or store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of your store visitors or customers.
- We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping/billing addresses, or payment details.
- Cart Calculations: The App dynamically checks the cart total via client-side scripts solely within the visitor's local browser to calculate progress toward the free shipping goal. Cart data is never stored on our servers or transmitted to any third party.
2. How We Use the Information
We use the collected merchant information solely for the following purposes:
- Providing, operating, and maintaining the dynamic free shipping bar on your storefront.
- Persisting your customized appearance and threshold settings across user sessions.
- Communicating important service updates or providing customer support.
We do never sell, rent, monetize, or trade any merchant or store data to third parties or advertising networks.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Hosting & Database: Data is securely stored using encrypted Google Cloud Run container infrastructure and PostgreSQL database services protected by SSL/TLS in transit and at rest.
