At 1-Click Countdown Timer Bar ("we", "our", or "the App"), we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the privacy of merchants and their customers. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

1. Overview and Core Privacy Commitment

1-Click Countdown Timer Bar is designed to provide promotional countdown timer banners on your online storefront.

We do NOT collect, store, sell, or track any personal identifiable information (PII) from your store’s visitors or end customers (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping addresses, or payment details).

2. Information We Collect

When you install and configure the App, we collect only the minimum technical information necessary to provide and operate the service:

• Merchant Information:
  • Shopify store domain (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com)
  • Shopify shop ID and access token required to communicate with the Shopify API
• App Configuration Data:
  • Timer display settings (e.g., headline text, target end dates/duration, call-to-action text and URLs, color choices, and layout preferences) stored via Shopify Metafields and our application database.
• Customer / Visitor Data:
  • None. We do not track personal customer data. For evergreen timers, timer expiration timestamps may be stored locally on the visitor's device using standard browser storage (localStorage) solely to maintain continuous countdown display for that individual device.

3. How We Use Your Information

The collected data is used strictly for the following purposes:

• To deliver, maintain, and display the countdown timer bar on your storefront as configured by you.
• To authenticate and manage your session when you access the App settings within Shopify Admin.
• To respond to technical support inquiries and provide troubleshooting assistance.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Your authentication tokens and configuration preferences are securely stored in modern, encrypted cloud databases (PostgreSQL hosted on Neon and Google Cloud Run infrastructure).
• We implement industry-standard security measures, including SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit, to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

5. Third-Party Disclosures

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Data is only processed through trusted infrastructure providers (such as Google Cloud Platform and Neon) necessary to run the web application.
