At 1-Click Age Verification (developed by kentralpark), we are committed to protecting the privacy of merchants and their customers. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding data collection and usage.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

1-Click Age Verification does not collect, store, or sell any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of your customers.

• We do not collect customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, shipping/billing addresses, or payment details.
• We do not track or profile individual visitors across websites.

2. How the App Works & Data Stored Locally

The app operates directly on the storefront theme to provide an age verification modal.

• Browser Storage / Cookies: When a visitor confirms their age, a small flag (age_verified: true or a session timestamp) is stored locally within their own browser's localStorage or sessionStorage. This prevents the age verification popup from reappearing on every page load.
• No Server Storage: This verification state remains strictly inside the user's browser and is never transmitted to or stored on our external servers.

3. Merchant & Store Information

To provide app functionality through Shopify:

• We access minimal store information provided by Shopify APIs (such as shop_id and myshopify_domain) solely for app installation, license verification, and session management.
• This technical session data is stored securely in our database and is deleted upon app uninstallation.

4. GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Since we do not collect or store personal data from your store's visitors or customers:

• Data Requests / Deletion: When a merchant or customer requests data deletion or access via Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks, we automatically acknowledge and process the request. No personal customer data exists in our systems to delete or export.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not share, sell, or rent any data to third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers.
